Ancient Veneti deserve to have a place also in modern technology. That is why Nejc Sever prepared a downloadable software version of the Venetic script, which can be used in programs like Word. With Venetic fonts you can easier read and transcript ancient inscriptions as well as follow new versions of our web site. We wish to inform you that the interpretation for some letters is still uncertain.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: Venetica is a free downloadable software (click on the hiperlink below). You can install it in WINDOWS\Fonts folder, to be usable in the Word program. With the Caps Lock command you can switch the direction of the letters (in order to write in the opposite direction).

Napis iz Novgoroda-2, zač. 11. st.. 32 znakov verjetno predstavlja bustropedonski način pisanja./ The Novgorod-2 inscription, first quarter of the 11th century. In the right part of the fragment there are 32 symbols. The inscription was probably made in Boustrophedon.
