urednik : And latest resaerch would even assume that it was Europe which gave India both its Hindu culture and name.
Alarix : As I read the many forms and shades of the Veneti name, it struck me that the name hides another obvious secret: root of the origin - "ind" like "Indo-", or "Hindu". So, a naïve and absolutely amateurish question is: isn't a name rooted in "indi" (which is a category one level higher than mere "Slavic" or German" or "Romance") a logical generic name for a nation so diverse and unwilling to bear any closer or specific common name?
urednik : Yes, the problem is merely the pronounciation :)
Alarix : Urednik, thanks for your reaction. I have no problem with English but I thought you get as much from reading in Czech as I get from Slovenian - which is actually, quite surprisingly, a lot. :-) Of course I cannot write in Slovenian, but I guess I understand the gist of it, and being in the language game, I think it is fun. :-D
urednik : Peter, I unfortunately can' debate in Czech. But there are some interesting articles being prepared in Czech language as well. Please do not feel offended if you stubmle over some arguments which are not in agreement with classical Keltimology ;)
