Re: Multi-Slovyan Basque Dictionary Project
For two centuries lazy European and American linguists failed to notice dozens upon dozens of basic Basque words with a common roots with Slovyan languages. Thus, erroneously they called the archaic Basque language an isolate, i.e. unlike any other in the world.
Today, Petr Jandacek a Czech arts teacher from New Mexico just noticed that Macedonians, following his linguistic, didactic and graphic talents, hit on the novel approach which will convince all that Basque and all Slovyan languages are related.
The multi-disciplinary evidence is as follows:
During 40,000 years of last Ice Age there was an ice-free Pre-Alpine and Pre-Carpathian Corridor (fact overlooked by scholars), which terminated on the glacier-filled Turgay Gate between the Urals and much expanded Caspian Sea (which then emptied under the glaciers into the Arctic Ocean). This ice-free corridor allowed free cultural, linguistic and genetic mixing between Proto-Basques and Proto-Ukrainians, at the time the Central and Northern Europe were under 2000 meters of ice and Peri-Mediterranean heights, mountains and littoral were cold uninhabited deserts and the Turgay Gate prevented miscegenation with Orientals. Hence "Hutsul" means in Basque ‘people who live or lived in caves' and Basques and Ukrainians have the highest in the world levels of the Prot-European Rh-negative blood. We are not aware of any more modern genetic studies comparing these two peoples. Ice Age Venuses are nearly identical in the West and East. When the global warming started to develop 14,000 BP (Before Present) the Ukrainian-Basque interaction stopped first by the impenetrable taiga and then the primeval deciduous forests. Thus the East-West exchange was replaced by North-South trade e.g. beech tablets, amber and domesticated animals to Egypt and Sumer and gold to Ukraine and northern Weneds.
By proving connection between Basque and all Slovyan languages we will further support the latest genetic findings that 90% of men of European ancestry derive from eleven grand, grand --- fathers who lived about 20,000 years ago in Ukraine and that we Slovyans are the long-sought-for Proto-Indo-Europeans, while the western and Mediterranean peoples are the youngest and most miscegenated breeds and not the other way around.
Thus, just think that authors of the English Oxford Etymological Dictionary forget that five percent of Egyptian mummies were/are blond and they can claim that the word ‘pyramid' is of and obscure Egyptian/Greek/Latin origin. Instead you and me instantly recognize that pyr in our languages means feast to god Perun by the fire (hence pyros=fire in Greek), and pyrnyk or piernik is a pyramid shaped honey (i.e. mid) cookie.
Consequently we must create and illustrated Basque - Poly-Slovyan tabulated dictionary which will include at least half a dozen of Slovyan languages. Each additional Slovyan language will bring forth commonality of additional Basque words. Thus nobody including academicians will be able to claim that the similarity is coincidental.
Description of the Project.
The great English Oxford Dictionary was created over 70 years by about 1,000 volunteers and a mere dozen of editors. We need about ten volunteers fluent in one of Slovan languages who instead looking at TV before retiring or doing crossword puzzles pour page after page of a Basque English Basque dictionary and with pen or pencil underline and explain in their language the words which are similar.
Our organization (MIPUR) just received a substantial grant for this project from the Polish Historical Society in United States and thus we are ready to purchase and mail to several volunteers copies of Basque-English dictionaries upon their request.
It will not hurt if two people will work on the same language. What one misses the other might pick up and vice versa. I think we are covered by two volunteers for Polish Ukrainian and Russian. Peter Jandacek partially covered the Czech language but now is busy with other projects. Slovenian dialects as one of the oldest Slovyan languages and geographically and environmentally the closest to the Basque is the most important. If someone is fluent in French and/or German it would be also useful to show that the youngest IE languages are far more removed from the Basque than the oldest one.
It would be nice to co-opt to this project a Lithuanian person as long as such person knows English or Russian.
I am certain that I will find in at Jagielonian University in Krakow a specialist in Kashubian language.
A person with knowledge of any Slovyan language and English could work i.e. compare Tocharian dictionary. I have a monstrous Sanskrit English dictionary published over 100 years ago. Perhaps Dr. Skulij would have time to help.
